SMPlayer 是一款很出色的影音播放器，它以 MPlayer 為核心，提供了直覺的操作介面，被稱為最棒的 MPlayer 前端介面。它同時有 Windows 跟 Linux 版本，因為功能完整且對硬體要求不高，所以受到許多人的喜愛。MuldeR's MPlayer for Windows 則是玩家修改後的版本，它同樣是 SMPlayer，不過有對各種 CPU 做最佳化，也是值得一試。

不過相信很多在 Windows 底下使用 SMPlayer 的人都有遇過無法顯示中文字幕的問題，要怎麼解決呢？底下三張圖片就是解答！

1.
在偏好設定裡頭，切換到「進階 → Mplayer 的選項」，將原本的「-nofontconfig」移除。

在「字幕」分類的〔字幕〕分頁底下，預設的字幕編碼選擇「正體中文字元集 (BIG5）」。若有時候你的字幕編碼是 Unicode 或 UTF-8，這裡就需要改為相對應的值。

切到〔Font and colors〕分頁，按下〔Enable SSA/ASS subtitles〕按鈕以便啟用它。然後你就可以選擇字體跟位置、顏色、樣式等設定了。最新版的 SMPlayer 將 SSA/ASS 的設定改成這樣，再也不用自己下參數，實在是非常方便。記得一定要啟用 SSA/ASS，才可以正常顯示字幕喔。

  • 我在 Ubuntu Linux 底下，用最新版的 MPlayer + SMPlayer 沒遇過這問題，我對 MPlayer 也不熟，你要不要去官方論壇問問？反正不用註冊就能發言了，作者很快就有回應了。
